It's down to the rest of the electorate to unite against it. Starmer isn't up to it. Quite where the answer falls is moot.

I don’t think a Reform govt is inevitable. And it’s up to us too, to make sure it doesn’t happen. Apathy, defeatism and tearing down our own side only emboldens Farage. We must refuse to help him. Be more strategic and defiant ourselves. He has 30% support. If the 70% can’t defeat him, shame on us.

I listened to it on Audible, a most excellent book. I read somewhere its being made into a film with Benedict Cumberbatch. That seems to have gone quiet though. Would love to see the film if it ever happens.
