I'm hoping he's still alive when the ballroom is demolished but hope is slim as I'm sure he'll die in office, sometime in the 2030s.

I find it almost quaint that you have such faith in the institutions of the US. IMO, it's a given that, if he's still alive, the tangerine toddler will still be in the Whitehouse way beyond noon on 20 Jan 2029. Can you give me some hope that I'm wrong, please. (Phil from Ipswich)

I admit I'd have to dip into it again to remember it. I can't always immediately recall a story from a title. But I don't recall not liking any of Adam R's books or Alastair R's.

Yes. I linked it from a paper I've drafted for the age-restricted content workshop, see philarcher.org/diary/2025/w.... I'll submit that as is before the deadline unless I have feedback to the contrary. I almost certainly can't go to the workshop, which is a pain.
