Reporting from Boston papers makes it seem very plausible that Trump's Press Secretary had his paramilitary detain the mother of her nephew, because she was no longer romantically involved with her brother and he wanted her out of the picture.

It's weirder for a right-wing catholic convert to be playing Renfield BOTH to a dark-triad former-game-show-host-turned-klepto-authoritarian-oligarch AND a gnostico-techno-techno-transhumanist-small-o-orthodox-Christian (for whom the 'o' apparently stands for 'only believes in the antichrist'.)
