It's pretty good, especially with props and costumes. I'm pretty sure that the lobster dinner was an anachronism for 1880, so I wouldn't be too surprised if the pen's slightly incorrect

So I was at a friend's house watching the "Death by Lightning" last night, and there were a dozen closeup scenes of writing with pens, mostly by Charles Guiteau and a few of James Garfield and a few others. Have you seen it? I'm curious how well they did with the pen choices.
