It took a long time to be able to see myself as the bad guy. I never wanted to accept that I had done anything wrong. But I feel a lot better taking responsibility for my actions than I did when I was in denial of all possible wrongdoing.

I recently made amends with someone I was very unkind to when I was a shitty teenager and it’s just been on my mind a lot. Sometimes you just owe someone an apology. It doesn’t make you a bad person for admitting fault in a situation.
