I’m curious, what are y’all’s instant cry buttons in stories? Mine is the moment when a character realizes that it’s all been worth it.

Prewriting is truly my favorite part of the writing process because it feels like putting a puzzle together, finding all the ways to connect disparate ideas. Also because my notes can look like this

I finished my first DAV playthrough last night and immediately started the next. It is SO rare for me to get all the way to the end of games, I can count the games I’ve finished on my fingers, but there wasn’t a moment of Veilguard that felt like homework to me. 10/10 excited to do it again
