I'm sure this has been said a lot, but if VAR is to say, can it only be if a ref (or managers?) ask for something to be looked at they weren't sure about. Plus, offsides if that can just be automated.

I did my costal skipper (next one up) in November. I really enjoyed it and easy to get into Marinas due to sensible people choosing not to sail at that time of year.
