One summer, a flock of wild turkeys moved into the barnyard, and they co-parented with chickens and guineas. The funniest part is watching ducklings hatched out by chickens go in the water, and the hens freak out and pace around the pond until they come out.

I’ve had chickens share nests with each other, and with ducks and guineas. When the babies hatch out, they are coparented by both types of hens regardless of the species of offspring.
