Just relaxing after a wonderful Christmas eve with the Keogh family at our house. Three very sweet small girls were very pleased to meet Santa. And three Great Uncles (Michael Palmer, Mike J J Keogh and Petroc Seisyllt), were amazed at how they had grown and how bright they are.

Avebury in the evening- no crowds and the whole site is open and unlocked at night. We walked 1 mile along the West Kennet alignment to the main stone circle which enclises much if the village. High ramparts make one think that it was a well defended castle. Rather than a Bronze Age festival site. 🥳
