I think that would be a great idea. People need to learn the tenets of every religion in order to argue pro or con on their merits. Too many discussions today are led by people who have no clue about what their discussing.

I must have missed something because in my area of the United States, Mexico is still a sovereign country located at the southern end of North America (the continent.) When did Mexico become part of the US? Has anyone told the Mexican government?

I would argue that the "United States" is the name of the country and that "of America" is a qualifier as to location and not actually part of the name.
I had this discussion once with a person while traveling overseas. They insisted that using "America" for the US was arrogant and dismissive.

Swalwell in particular seems to provoke in order to respond. In my opinion , he’s becoming the Dem version of Nancy Mace I. That he can’t get enough attention. What’s he doing for people on the ACA? He’s very me, me, me focused.

Honestly, this makes me sort of angry. The Dems jump up to engage in this performative BS that helps the Swalwells and the Comeys. What about the rest of us? What’s the plan to help constituents?

All of that makes sense under a legitimate administration (which would never have placed these charges,) but Trump doesn't care how much it costs because he's using our taxpayer $$$ for this retribution tour as well as deploying the NG and giving illiterate thugs $50K bonuses to harass people.

Why can't the DOJ say that the rules for naming prosecutors were changed under trump and that the prosecutor was legally appointed to her position? Trump's "my way or the highway" approach has worked before and the SC certainly isn't going to curtail him.

The Comey and James cases were not "tossed." The judge kicked the can down the road by dismissing them (without prejudice) on a technicality.

Glenn Kirchner described this as a "win" and I asked how? No response. The judge made the ruling without prejudice meaning that charges can be refiled. Why not dismiss Corey on merit since Halligan didn't even present the 2nd charge to the Grand Jury? I'd really appreciate an explanation.

Today, airplanes are not cleaned between legs of a trip. People wear their old clothes because airplanes are disgusting. It's not uncommon to pull down the tray table to see spills and crumbs from a previous passenger's meal.

I don't dispute the judges ruling but think that the judge could have dismissed the Comey and James charges on their merit rather than by claiming the prosecutor was not officially named to her role. It seems as if the judge kicked the can down the road, not ended the idiocy.
