I’ve had to tell myself that it’s a less-than-optimal year for the Lions / UM football, but that DTW & UM hockey and basketball are pleasant surprises thus far.

Oof, it’s a rough game. (Even tougher given the assumption beforehand that this would likely be a Lions win.)

Like, I’m not an AI fan at all, but if you’re going to use it in practice at least shell out for actual legal AI products instead of Elmo’s slapped together crap?

Oh, no no…people are so bad with AI. And so many can’t be bothered with taking the time to double-check results. On the upside, it’s another example I can use w/my students for what not to do!

I, too, get emails meant for random Canadians--iIncluding a copy of financial documents & contract for a new six-figure SUV another "mlalonde" was purchasing in Quebec. Had to write back in my A2-level French to say "please don't send me this?"

In an online group over the weekend, a woman said she talked to a ChatGPT "fairy", asked it advice for everything, and said she was part of some Deepak Chopra-led AI spiritual group. It was just bonkers AF. I was like, "Ma'am, you're talking to a database of stolen books and art."
