Thanks for your comment. Yes I am in the UK. This should be the original species (with the narrow mouth of the flower) which appears to match other flowers that have opened. I have recently had a tacsonia species P.pinnatistipula which has 4 anthers and 4 stigma.

I installed two more water butts recently giving a total capacity of over 1000 litres, more than doubling what I had before. Definitely worthwhile especially after the recent drought.

It doesn't seem to like our winters - not the cold but it may get too wet
