Further study, my thesis may be wrong. The *front* of the frieze on the Temple of Vesp. also seems to be epigraphic.

Side note -- Piranesi seems to have read Suetonius and mis-identified this as a temple of "thundering" Jupiter that might have been a project of Augustus.

Another stylistic possibility from Domitian's projects might be the lost Temple of Minerva in The Forum Transitorium, however, the frieze in Piranesi's study seems to be epigraphic (not base relief), & lacks the sacrificial accoutrements represented on the frieze of The Temple of Vespasian + Titus.

Frieze on the right-hand temple: seems to match The Temple of Vespasian and Titus in The Roman Forum.
