Ran the 10k turkey trot yesterday in north Davis, very foggy day, my watch died after 18 seconds, but I ended up getting my personal best, 10 mins better than last years 10k! Delighted with that. Legs feel it now.

Soccer and Lifestyle (the football shirt shop I love going to for the past 20 years) moved last week, to my surprise, up to 3rd Street. I like this location, had to sketch it yesterday lunchtime. #daviscalifornia

Lovely sunny day today. Got up early to watch spurs lose/win/draw, watch the formula 1, also have a six mile run (!!!!) for the first time this year. Downtown in the afternoon, I sketched half a panorama (finish another day, Davis ain’t going anywhere), have a milkshake then go home. Good Saturday.

Up very early, Spurs are losing at home again (dammit), F1 Brazil sprint race about to start (come on Lando), then I’ll have my five mile run.

Ok time for Tottenham, time for the champions league which we are somehow in. spurs v Copenhagen. The commentary seems to be from a completely different game which is brilliant. Hope they don’t fix it.

Probably too late to start Inktober this year. (Im actually deliberately drawing less at the moment because I only just finished scanning from the summer and realized I actually draw soooo muuuuch I can’t stop. Definitely drawn far more in 2025 than any other year).

Finally finished all my summer scanning, and then caught up with scanning sketches up to yesterday too. Still have to edit and save them, and then post them on my sketchbook with funny little stories to go with them, but either way I have done waaaaaay more sketching this year than any other year.
