Thoughts on AI as a scrum team member, from Mastodon:
Been reading more about the idea of AI as a #Scrum team member & it got me thinking about what sort of team member they'd be. They aren't proactive. They only do something when explicitly asked. ✅ They aren't good at asking follow-up questions to help clarify what they're being asked. ✅ When they come across an issue, instead of asking for help, they just brute-force-bullshit their way through the problem so they can deliver something and then leave it for others to fix things. ✅ Are overconfident in their ability to do the work. ✅ Think it's all about writing code instead of what value I'm trying to deliver. ✅ Umm, that's a sort of team member I can do without, thank you very much. No business value was achieved But but but Al adds business value.
