Denmark joined the EU in 1973 with Greenland as part of it's territory. Greenland voted to leave in a referendum in 1985. The Greenland self rule law was passed in 2009

In Umea SE, they de-ice pavements before roads. It is part of a gender equal strategy. Women have less access to family cars and also are more likely to take children to daycare and school. The policy saves counties money as it has reduced breakages among pedestrians of all genders in icy weather.

The underlying problem is that Parliament has non-digital voting systems that require members to queue in divisions. With parliamentary productivity the same as the Victorians, no wonder the country is going to hell in a handcart. Demolishing the Palace of Westminster would do us all a favour.
