Excellent Hanover Chamber of Commerce Christmas lunch with Hanover Mayor Sue Paterson & Town Crier Jennifer Olivero participating. Great meal from Cravings Restaurant. The mayor presented the town's top 5 success for 2025. A good year for sure.

OTD 1980: John Lennon is shot to death outside his New York City apartment building as he and his wife, Yoko Ono, were returning from a recording session. Mark David Chapman, a 25-year-old drifter who had sought Lennon's autograph hours earlier, was later convicted of the killing.
