When I visited America for the first time in 1999 I was shocked how bad the food was. Like my best meals were a big mac and a bowl of corn flakes.

Just 12 years it was a completely different world. Every cuisine imaginable and very high quality.

One thing I've noticed about American politics is the tendency to make everyone a hero or villain, so any criticism is seen as an attack that must be defended against no matter how valid.
