Iowa is better than the bottom nine teams in the College Football Playoff. Its sin is that it lost two close, tough games to Oregon and USC
(It was intellectually lazy by the CFP to drop the Hawkeyes out of the top 25 just because they lost to USC)

Learn how the CFP rolls. ND lost to great teams by 4 points - Irish could EASILY be 8-0. Texas lost to Florida, who got thumped by Miami. Irish beat USC, all 6 wins by double digits
(And ND is GOOD)
