That level of anger can induce stress related inflammatory markers.

No way! That never crossed my mind! (Maybe Scott's Chicken Villa made a concerted effort to Canadianize the brand?)

Proof of Colonel Sanders in Canada: my great uncle and Harland (what those of us close to him called him, haha) as the celebrity invites for the grand opening of the Scott's Chicken Villa in Peterborough.

Haha I was like "hmmmm, I don't get this metaphor."

War and taxes are like gravity to the right.

As a Canadian, I'm grateful that at least he isn't Canadian. (Don't look it up. Just trust me.)

Dear RFK, your kids' tears weren't tears of joy. They were tears of sorrow. (Even the simplest of evidence RFK can't interpret properly.)

You may not attend church but you probably do "practice" your Christianity everyday. They don't. ; )
May 9, 2025 at 12:49 PM
hahaha. Didn't say that but consider, for example, Kareem, Gasols, Conley played forever and NEVER did anything like what Green does almost nightly. How he deserves a voice is mindboggling. As NBA fans we should choose our ambassadors more wisely.
May 4, 2025 at 8:34 PM
Actuallllllly, haha. Pop's image is a bit manufactured as well. (I think his mentoring and his politics are outstanding but him, for example, looking the other way on Bruce Bowen's nonsense is telling. Look it, I get competitive fire, but some of these guys can be pretty soulless in their pursuits.)

I was at the concert in '74 when this was recorded. Amaizing!
May 4, 2025 at 1:36 PM
I've been listening to Draymond Green for almost 20 years, and everything he says...and does on and off the court...serves the interests of Draymond Green. The only reason he is saying anything nice about Popovich now is because Pop is the flavour of the month.

Green is very smart...and awful.
May 4, 2025 at 1:28 PM
I think if Pop is the guy everyone says he is then I don't think he'd want the endorsement of someone like Green.

And, the fact it is Green's comments on Pop that were solicited and shared says something kinda awful about NBA journalism and social media.
May 4, 2025 at 1:21 PM
When he apologizes (sincerely and unconditionally) for criminally assaulting a teammate, and when he stops trying to hurt people on the court, then I'll give him a chance. Till then, Draymond Greed is a toxic piece of shit.
May 3, 2025 at 6:09 PM
Off the court? Oh, like the criminal 1st degree assault he committed against a teammate?
May 3, 2025 at 6:06 PM
I really wanted to watch the whole game last but between him and the insanity of the officiating I had to keep switching channels. I didn't leave it on till I was kinda assured the Warriors were going to lose. haha
May 3, 2025 at 11:29 AM
no

(That game was almost impossible to watch last night largely because of that man. And almost everything he says and does are toxic. So, the very few things he says that aren't, I'm going to choose to ignore.)

That's why saying "full term" is dumb. The NDP could announce today they will not support a Liberal mandate, and then the shit really hits the fan. "Full" as in 4 or 5 years could easily be 4 or 5 weeks.
April 29, 2025 at 1:10 PM
We don't use "term". We use "mandate". Even the CBC last night saying the Liberals won the government is annoying. The Liberals won a plurality of seats, not the "government", which means they are the first to ask the Governor General for the mandate and hence have a chance to form the government.

Someone close to me was having brain surgery and was asked to identify objects on a screen: "house" "car"... When they got to the single humped camel he said "dromedary". Because his speech was slurred they asked him to repeat what he said: "dromedary". They said, "no that's ok. It's a camel." haha

Really does seem so. My NDP neighbour doesn't have a sign on his lawn. Actually, I haven't seen any in Barrie at all. Actually, my CPC neighbours don't have signs either.
