He was in many great movies (i especially love blade and bacurau), but i most appreciate him in the bad stuff. Nothing like watching a bloodrayne or end of days or johnny mnemonic, getting bored, and then udo shows up to save the scene. A hero in that way.

Yeah, i got diagnosed at 15 and my doc used the same analogy basically- it’s a tool, but you have to keep building the toolbox.

Now, nearly twenty years later, i come across as very Type A to new people & coworkers because i’ve spent time on it.

I was diagnosed at 15, got on medication then. It helped a lot with performing for societal expectations (better grades, better impulse control), but only through continual self-improvement and self-understanding did i actually get a grip on it. That just takes time, and an 8 year hasn’t had time.

Yes, i would have dug what they were up to if they’d just made a narrative version of that story with co-op. Grinding the same nazi office building 17x so you could go get new levels was indeed a chore.

I liked how you could give a friend a code and they could play with you without buying the game.

I bet the last one will come true someday, at least. They keep mentioning it in interviews

“Can you make a Wolfenstein version of Destiny” is one of those things that’s fun to consider but not to play

There is a huge gulf between deeply unpleasant stuff like battlefield earth, which is so ugly it requires a specific mindset to digest, and Junior, which is a handsomely mounted, committed comedy that also happens to be so bizarre. You can’t look away from Junior, as miscalculated as it is.

I had never seen Them! until a couple weeks ago and was thinking “who is this absolute charm machine as the cop in this” and yeah, it was Brooks

The real luxury is subtler: getting to go to the bathroom without bothering anyone, and not having to get up for someone else’s bathroom business
