I would have more tolerance for his work if he had more than like, five basic bits. I do really enjoy ITYSL but the schtick wears thin once you realize it's *all* he does and it can't carry more than a 2-5 minute sketch

I can agree with that. I've always been pro player freedom but the portal is definitely broken, e.g. plenty of lower-league soccer clubs are basically feeder teams, but at least Ajax gets a huge payday to reload when all their young talent gets poached

I actually do equally love both the 12-team Playoff and the anarchy of bowls + vote-crowned champions. But getting mad at teams for sitting out what's become a consolation prize with no upside is giving "no take only throw"

🎯 ND isn't throwing a tantrum, they're making the obvious choice set up and incentivized by the current CFB environment. Like it or don't, but the Irish are not the ones to be mad at here

Obv would rather not see teams opting out of bowls, but can't blame anyone for following the incentives the current system sets up. People trashing ND for being sour grapes are sour grapes themselves

Or 10-team conferences with promotion & relegation but that's in "what color do you want your unicorn" land
