I think this a bug and I would love it fixed. :-)
I use Alfred to open to my To Do list in Obsidian using the following URL
obsidian://open?vault=HomeIT&file=ToDo
which works great, unless that is already the active note. Then it renders the note blank

BTW, love the tool. I live in it
