Oh, look, there's Louis being way hotter in real life. 😊

That's a nice fic. I like Sunflouwerhabit's stuff, especially Down the Line.

Jeezy Creezy.
Apparently, our bags are supplied but we have to buy our own bins.

I think I've come across those too. 😊 On caravan sites maybe?

You Welsh girls are the worst. 😁
December 9, 2025 at 2:30 PM
Thank you.
Having facilities just a few km closer would make a big difference. Being able to walk to a shop or something. 😊

100% I have been this person!
I hope your walk wasn't too wet and blowy.

Four per household of how many? It seems like a lot, but I guess it depends on frequency of collection.
They are absolutely asking for trouble here, because people will start burying their rubbish on their land - we all have acreage.

Same guy. 😁 Also sells woodburners and pellet burners, sweeps chimneys, installs cookers, etc.

It was lovely this morning - so quiet and still too, no wind, just birds.

Exactly this. I've almost completely lost my support network over the past decade, what with Brexit, deaths and Covid. I need to get out more, honestly, meet new people, but it's more difficult than it was, with one thing and another. 🤷‍♀️

Near Aberystwyth, I think.

Meaning interview, do you think?
Which he's literally doing - a Zoom interview.

We were dead lucky with the fridge as we were right at the end of a two-week shopping cycle, so there weren't many perishables in there. We have two freezers, so I've frozen what I can, like cheese and meat, and I'm cold-boxing the rest and have turned off the kitchen radiator. Milk's a bit tricky!

Morning, Kev.
I may design ways to kill my plumber if he doesn't turn up today to look at my conked-out fridge. 😁
Also on my hitlist is the mayor, as the commune has removed all the rubbish bins and the recycling bins are going next. Pickup only from now on (and they don't do our lane).
December 9, 2025 at 10:22 AM
We are.
It's just that a friend I've known for 10 years is leaving France. She's too lonely here since her husband died. And she was always ADAMANT that she would never leave, so it's very sad. She absolutely must do what's best for herself but I will miss her terribly, so it's a blow personally.

I hope you're not on a weather warning where you are!
A Welsh moot of mine is doing some clifftop run today, madwoman.
December 9, 2025 at 10:18 AM
Zoom, I think, not 'soon'.
December 9, 2025 at 10:17 AM
Best of luck, love.
Helen Warlow posted a great painting the other day, called 'Get a dog, they said'. Look at the reply from Rhian!

I peeked out and it was pitch black and then about 10 minutes later I saw it coming up, so I rushed out. And it was SO quiet. Just crows cawing, chickens crowing, everything pink. I missed my boy, as his fur would glow on sunny mornings. 😊

LOL: I'm halfway through building my book tree (it's only a flat one, but I need something that's out of reach of the puppy).
It takes a lot more books than you'd think!
I was put off my stroke a bit by some bad news and then the fridge deciding to die.
