Rightly or wrongly Howe is in real danger here. Poor signings, poor performances and poor results are rarely tolerated in this league. At least not by elite clubs. A goal now might just save his job. #nufc

#nufc moving for Wissa is just desperate. In no way would that signing move the dial for us. Unfathomable how we're chasing mediocrity once again. It's no wonder Isak is unsettled seeing such a lack of ambition.

Wissa, Trippier, Tonali, Murphy... All have been woeful. This #nufc squad needs a big reset in the summer, but the season feels like it's just ebbing away with every performance like this.

An awful game of football. A dead atmosphere. #nufc losing at home and lacklustre in everything they are trying to do. This is where the manager needs to earn his bit. Too many players not playing for Howe at the moment.

I'm not a member of the 'Eddie out' brigade, but I get why some #nufc fans want a change. This coaching staff is the best we've ever had but there has been some poor recruitment and performances have dipped. A marquee signing or two would change the mood for players and fans alike. Keep the faith.

In reality there hasn't been much between the two sides today and #nufc have had some good spells. This squad is not deep enough though and hopelessly lacking a decent striker. Really surprised we haven't done some transfer business this month.

It's not that #nufc have played badly, but Villa have been excellent. They are winning in midfield, but Onana should have had a booking by now. Gillett seems to be letting things go, which is refreshing and frustrating in equal measure.
