Imagine you have three distinct (say, differently coloured) bags, and in each bag, there are balls with numbers 0, 1 or 2 on them. By drawing a single ball from each bag, how many different ways are possible to make the sum of the numbers on the drawn balls odd? That's how I thought.

No, the answer to the calendar questions is always the day of the month, i.e. today's answer is 12. Can you work out how it might be so?
