if he hadn't left (which was due to external factors) and this is a problem with characters on the show in general. it's messy writing and i'm still unsure what the writers' grand plan was and have the feeling they don't even know this themselves...

not really especially with how s4 was written. i have a problem with the words/definitions of "traditional" and "domestic" bc these hints have been too vague and there were also hints that pointed at the opposite. we will never know what he really wanted and what would have happened

they kept it purposely vague, we don't even really know what was written in the letters exactly bc the writers didn't bother going into that. i find it still shitty of them to throw him under the bus like that but honestly not surprised by it considering how they've handled things.

looks like the trailer mostly covers the first two episodes so i'm scared what the rest looks like as i haven't read the book 🫣

None of his projects interfered with the filming schedule of the show. In fact they do regularly shift schedules for actors on this show and film out of order. They have major budget problems and that's likely part of the reason why they let him go. It's pretty obvious when you look into it.

Not sure if you started the show yet but truthfully I wouldn't bother now if I was you. You only end up being disappointed. They really baited the fans until the very end with no resolution. And for the leading character Eliza has had the least growth of all characters....in four seasons.

terrible rushed writing? they wanted too much. sometimes less is more. if i was one of the fans who had to wait years for the movie i'd be even more pissed lol

my local tv network literally just released the movie on their streaming platform. it's like they listened to our convo & want to taunt me

a second watch would just make me more frustrated i think😪

interesting because for me it's the other way around. i have a hard time concentrating when reading novels & have a short attention span unless the story REALLY draws me in. i get distracted so easily and my mind wanders constantly. images help me focus better for some reason. i try to remedy that.
