A retail employee named Mikey, standing with his back to the reader, speaks into a phone receiver connected to the store's P.A. system: "Attention shoppers! Anyone caught tossing trash in the pots and pans, I will tell Santa to skip your house this year! This is your *only* warning!" The phone receiver is now on the hook. From the left, another employee named Katie approaches him holding a wrapped sandwich and handing him a bottle of soda as she says with a smug expression: "*And* next up is Mikey. Roast beef and *yellow* mustard because being assistant manager means having no taste." Mikey turns towards Katie and holds out his hand to grab the bottle, then says sarcastically: "Oh wow! Lunch *and* flattery? You really shouldn't have! Soda in-hand, Mikey turns the cap to open the bottle, only for the soda to foam up and splash with a loud, then tapering "PSH PBFBLL". Both him and Katie look at the bottle, surprised. Returning to her smug expression, Katie hands him the sandwich and says: "Oh, right. Pre-shaked soda, requested by Val for you getting her order wrong last time... *again*." Mikey, unamused, pulls back his hand as the bottle drips soda to the floor, releasing air with a faint "FSHHH" sound.

Inside the breakroom of a home decor and furniture store, an employee named Katie brings over a wrapped sandwich and a can of soda to her co-worker Valerie, who is navigating a tablet with one hand, and writing something on a piece of paper with the other. Against the wall behind her is a bulletin board. Attached are a pamphlet that reads: "Union dues or a new phone. What's with all of those weird symbols?" Valerie puts down her pencil and opens the soda can with one hand as she responds: "It's calculus. You didn't learn it in school?" Valerie is now holding the soda can in her hand. Katie walks away with a smug expression, and says dismissively "Pshhh, hell if I remember! You're lucky I didn't forget to show up today!"

A woman named Katie walks past the entrance to a deli with a full plastic bag in one arm, with both of her hands in the pockets of her hoodie. Katie looks down and notices a turkey walking past her to her right. A bunch of turkeys start passing her, with one of them bumping her leg. Startled, she recoils and shouts: "Hey!" Waving one arm to shoo away the turkeys, she yells: "Do you all mind?? *Scram* before you become someone's next Thanksgiving leftovers!" The turkeys stop and look in all different directions with confused expressions.

After a year and a half of drawing with either a plastic stylus or my index finger, I finally bought a real tablet with a real stylus.

The sluggishness and the horrible color accuracy of my old one were getting to me. The stylus started as a bonus, but became a necessity basically immediately.

A retail employee named Katie struggles to carry three boxes: one for a slow cooker, one for a set of bowls, and another smaller box. The two smaller boxes sit atop the larger box. The customer for the three boxes trails behind her, talking on his phone with an absent expression: "Hello? Yeah, I got someone to bring 'em to the car. Huh? No, it's okay, you don't have to park closer. We're gonna bring 'em to you. Just pop open the trunk." Scene cuts to Katie and her manager who appears from the left side of the view. Pointing behind him, the manager says: "Hey Katie, you're needed at register six." Scene cuts back to Katie and the customer. Katie responds: "Fine by me!" as she enthusiastically shoves the slow cooker box into the customer's hands, startling him and causing him to drop his phone. The two boxes atop the larger box rattle with an audible "CLANK". Scene cuts back to Katie and the manager, with the customer still slightly in view struggling to balance the boxes in his hands. The manager, holding cash in his left hand to give it to Katie, says: "*After* you grab us lunch. It's your turn this week."
