It's very hard to get a picture of Kalabaza. Of she sees your hand she wants pets, and if you move too quickly she scurries off. The most skittish cat I've ever shared space with. #Caturday

I'm making sympathy soup for all you folks dealing with snow. There's carrots, chickpeas, turmeric, cinnamon, paprika, cumin, mutton... Soon I'll throw in some spinach and parsley, and I've got a baguette, some harissa and preserved lemons.
