The ride feature is just anyones gay dream from some digimon.
Belphemon Rage Mode being a rideable digimon just causes so much dopamin for me XD

In the released game, there are skill trees that allow you to get digivolutions with certain personalities on lower stats. Considering they have the matching personalities.

Also just increase the talent stat of that digimon. Makes your life way easier.

Hmm its person to person. Although I kinda like it to be accompanied constantly by different people for once. So many games have guest features and than... you get only like 1 or 2 times a guest. Nevertheless, I understand if anyone sees it as hand-holding. Maybe their is an option to disable it?
