Serenity. Courage. Wisdom… and Tacos. Feral AF.

Don’t set yourself on fire to keep someone else warm.
Thanks for this! I don’t think it’s reasonable to avoid programs entirely but it’s fair to feel some trepidation considering the time commitment.

That program wasn’t even on her radar a year ago. But I had shared some of your course syllabus that you’ve been posting here and it really connected.

She is heartbroken and may not even submit the app.

Her entire undergrad experience in general has just been filled with absurdity.

I’m absolutely stunned by this Jeff!

I just spent the last 2 months helping my bestie’s daughter work through her app for the Comparative Lit MA at Dartmouth. She has really struggled to find a program that met her values on AI and was very encouraged by the program.

Back in the olden days of bookselling, we called this The Oprah Effect.

Lot of crap writing laundered through that book club.

At the time, it was great that reading was so heavily promoted on every daytime talk show.

A Million Little Pieces of Fifty Shades of Grey and here we are.

And I’m saying they weren’t close enough to tell if what was on the boat was drugs.

Were the containers labeled “DRUGS”?

Hard to know for sure when the contents are at the bottom of the Caribbean. 🤷🏻‍♀️

There is zero way to know if that boat was carrying drugs.

ZERO.

I’ve only read a few blurbs on this whole, whatever, but…

It kind of sounds like it might have been AI generated based on a few voicemails, texts, and doorbell videos in the style of a Danielle Steele novel circa 1984.

It’ll sell well from the bargain bin for DIY crafts like knife blocks.

It’s kind of bittersweet watching these women discover in real time that they never had a place at the table.

Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned and I wonder if these women will embrace their inner bitch and come out swinging.

Especially as they see D women rising.

OK I’ve put together the list. Shame on all of them:

Ford CEO Jim Farley
Stellantis CEO Antonio Filosa
General Motors plant manager John Urbanic
National Auto Dealers Association Chairman Tom Castriota
Transportation Sec Sean Duffy
Deputy transportation Sec Steven Bradbury

Let’s get some names on these people.

If they want to stand behind this, they don’t get to be anonymous.

He’s their puppet. We deserve to know who all is pulling the strings.

Awful lot of old white men in that room.

Thank you for this. In "Book and Dagger," now in paperback, historian Elyse Grahm writes the largely untold but riveting story of how scholars, librarians, and "oddball archivists" were mobilized to defeat fascism in WWII: "The war may have been fought on battlefields, but it was won in libraries."

Not to mention the risks of overexposure.

Those radiation and contrast doses are tracked for a reason every time you get scanned.

There is no such thing as a preventive MRI.

MRIs (any diagnostic imaging) is either screening for presence of condition or monitoring a diagnosed condition.

Imaging does not prevent disease.
