The big reveal is told to them, because the crime is perfect with no clues left behind. For a spymaster, Shan's ability to investigate is severely limited. It strained belief a bit to have that perfect secrecy.

Prince is more stable, but his past catches up with him.

I was pretty surprised by where the plot went in this. I had some assumptions about how the universe worked that turned out to be very wrong.

Now I've no idea where the third will go.

In archaeology, articulated skeletons indicated undisturbed burials, and dis articulated ones are from disturbed burials, or things like pit burials where remains are not still mostly in line. AFIAK

In Last Guard by Nalini Singh, the male love interest, Canto, is a full time wheelchair user. I think it could be read as a standalone.

Borderline by Mishell Baker has been mentioned, great series. Millie is a double amputee and uses a chair some of the time.

In Facets of the Bench by Celia Lake Griffin has a dynamic disability, and alternates between a chair and crutches.

It can be read as a standalone.

Also a short story in Winter's Charms features Golshan, who has spinal cord damage and is a full time wheelchair user.
