There's no excuse for ProPublica's position on this issue. We need a fair contract, with real job security and GAI guardrails, now!

Additionally, management struck out:
1️⃣ Language that would prevent GAI from producing editorial work
2️⃣ A requirement that AI-generated content be clearly labeled and reviewed by human editors

But he sent us back to the table to bargain with POLITICO over an appropriate remedy.
