I had that on a button back in the 90s. Marched in Washington, DC wearing that. Carpooled from Toledo. Probably still have it in a box somewhere

I think it's mostly "donations" from billionaires who are buying exceptions to whatever laws would otherwise apply to them. They are buying lawlessness for themselves. (There might be other income streams, but this will be a one big one. Putin has a similar system in place.)

And, unless they are experiencing right wing pressure to strip the system, they really don't have longer wait times than we do. A well funded, well run universal health care system is possible. Why can't we do it?
