“We do not inherit the Earth from our ancestors; we borrow it from our children.” – Native American Proverb
One of the biggest problems with the Christian bible is that there is no mechanism to change it over time. Clearly the passages you're referencing here are deplorable and indefensible and need revision.

I love your observation here! You don't have to travel far to see Earth's natural processes in action.

I wonder if some in MAGA are starting to see the writing on the wall. With the economy, the releasing of the Epstein Files, the legality questions around the attacks on private watercraft, etc., she may just be trying to get ahead of the fallout that seems looming.

I remember reading about bats' echolocation and how they "see" with it. Do you think that they create a similar reality in their brains with sound as we do with light? If so, how could we know?

These illegal actions are destroying the U.S's credibility too. For whatever advantage is gained by taking out these supposed drug boats, we are losing our integrity to rest of the world. These actions are so short-sighted and come from a place of total disregard for the rule of law.

Many atheists would argue that it is the theist's outlook that is limited and constrained. Curiosity can be stifled if one thinks they already possess the answers to life's mysteries.

Amazing that we can still receive communication from both Voyager space craft!

I'm inclined to believe that Dawkins' idea is still fundamentally true, the selfish gene is the basic unit that drives evolution by natural selection. I don't think Noble's arguments take away from it as we all know gene's don't want to do anything. It's just helpful to understand it this way.

He has already caused damage by placing doubt in the minds of people about the safety of vaccines.

It's nice to see the AMA make a statement. #Vaccines are safe and have gone through the rigorous clinical trials process to be deemed so. I hope the damage isn't too bad.

Very interesting. I could definitely see it going this way.

This is fascinating. It's interesting that human domestication of animals seems to have similar genetic effects across species. I wonder which other mammals have the potential to demonstrate this effect as well.

I'm not a scientist and I'm curious what "(Pstr 077.20, sat AM)" means.
