Former hill & moorland walker. After major lower leg reconstruction, now an amateur wildlife and landscape photographer.
Locked in a concrete jungle, very concerned for the countryside.

Thank you.
We think one was last year's cub.
A return visit to the garden, first port of call, straight to where a water bowl used to be placed so visiting foxes didn't get caught in the pond netting.
The fox quickly learned to drink from the bird bath, only one fox cub ever did that last year.

That's good.
We've had visiting foxes for years, captured on trailcam. This year all adults and cubs were victim to mange.
We do have what potentially could be a breeding pair of foxes regularly visiting, as captured on trailcam and uploaded to my Flickr acc.

A sad sign of the times.
If I don't catch you before, all the best for Christmas.

Nice looking fox.

I've not come across it before, but them the nearest Cotswold Outdoor is too far away.
A web search suggests it started 2020.

It's of no use to me, all my local #CotswoldOutdoor outlets closed during Covid19 and never reopened. 😕

Seasons greetings to you. Keep that camera snapping away through 2026.

Beautiful beast.

Hopefully worth the effort.
It's not just iPhone I've had similar issues with android and windows.
The only files/progs that seem to effortlessly transfer are the op sys files, 3rd party apps can be hit and miss.
So much for progressive tech.. 🙄

FYI I've seen this type of behaviour many times only with juv gulls.
Seems to be a version of play hunting with the stones deliberately dropped for no reason. A guess, might be to simulate cracking crustacean shells.
But I'm open to logical explanations.

Yip.
Along with some other 'interesting' hits.
With groups like Kenny and 'The Bump' reached No. 3 in the charts Dec 74.....

Nice capture. 👍
We've had a sprawk take out one of our male blackbirds a few weeks back.
It was over in a blink of an eye. The only confirmation was watching the sprawk eat the blackbird at the bottom of the garden.

Not quite birds and rocks, how about juv gulls & stone.... These gulls were picking stones from the water and being play chased by others.

Almost like a scene from Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds l as they flew overhead.
Or for the younger readers, the Dementors in Harry Potter x
