Survivor 49 Episode 12 edgic chart Kristina UTRN2 Rizo CPP4 Sage MORP2 Savannah MOR3 Sophi CPP4 Steven MOR3 [MOR overall] Survivor 49 contenders chart, ordered from most to least likely to win; Savannah, Rizo, Sage, Sophi, Kristina Savannah was definitely MOR, surprised how little P she got for the family reward, toneless by comparison. Odd, but she has enough backing personal content at this point compared to Rizo's minimal and Sophi's nonexistant. Speaking of Sophi's nonexistant, her winner chances are done. Honestly, in the final 3 of her/sage/kristina, I do see her likely winning, but wow is that not happening, especially not when as others have already pointed out, her win con and entire raison d'etre was unmistakably the KIP, and lmfao to that. At this point, at least edit-wise Sage has scraps of semi successful throughlines with Jawan and triumphing over both Shannon and Sophie. Kristina.... /could/ be mor? but was the least important piece on the board tonight unquestionably, and didn't have much of anything going on besides being the faux resistance against voting Steven. utrn is also funnier? idk. I could waver... but it's Kristina. She's UTRM overall either way. Finally Steven... mor cusp cp lite idrk. I also dont really care to keep rewinding his confessionals and trying to gleam meaning from his weekly riddles three. Just let me through the dungeon door already I've HAD IT Anyways Savannah's top 2, either she wins (very likely) or she loses and her social was why, but at this point and with who she's surrounded by I don't see why they'd hard commit to her story if she just loses to Rizo of all people? Anyone else from the majority sure, but equally-targetting minority-nuisance Rizo??? Nuh uh. And... if she loses, it /is/ Rizo. There's literally no other option. Sophi has been immortalized as an all time tank, Kristina has no respect and isn't on the season, and Sage... ...so I technically don't have a definitive Sage clear but I'll just vaguely gesture to the season as a whole that we've all sat through, and know you understand. Rizo is possible but very unlikely because again, for someone with such similar trajectory to Savannah, he really has been so sidelined in comparison. Sure, he's gotten the most credit during the merge, but realistically it's been aaaallll idols for him, when it could've just been aaalllll immunities for Savannah. Unsure if he gets 2nd or loses firemaking, but either way, congrats on utterly stomping this RI tier cast??

I don't know, but I think with her entire stint having this vague, inexplicable air of stank distaste from every member of production around her, capping her with a soft N feels... right. All things considered it's kind of a travesty that she's MOR overall... Kristina N was ... not there. Like at all. Started and ended with Savannah's reaction to strong dislike. Sage M was pronounced enough I guess, but still weak. Agree that despite being pretty repetitive, none of her Sophie hunt was presented all that ott, especially when repeating yourself ad nauseam is just another new era episode at this point. Savannah I don't think got enough for MOR actually... I got practically nothing of substance from her apart from being the decoy boot. Kristina out, duh. Steven out, duh. Sage... has threads, but realistically has nothing left in her favour. Rizo... dare I say he's legitimately rising a lot for me? Like it's kind of 40/40/20??? But... he just still lacks real /story/. He has the new era Things on lock, idol, rizgod, etc etc, but what are his threads to the rest of the cast? He's Savannah's #1, technically shares that alliance with Soph... that's it. 0 with Kristina, next to 0 with Sage, technically he's advantaging off with Steven right now, but that's it? And though he's actually claimed pretty decisive credit for 3/5 merge boots so far, he really doesn't have anything on the jury??? He... was friendly with Jawan on Uli 1.0. That's it. It just doesn't feel fleshed out enough, but, he's getting there and depending on how the advantage war shakes out this episode, he's legitimately in contention? Savannah, gonna be controversial and keep her at 2 for the same reasons Ive outlined before, as much as she has ties with most jurors, almost all of them are negative. This is Her season undoubtedly, but I feel like the pieces are there to explain a loss, especially when it's very likely someone with an advantage will get to pull off the penultimate-episode winning move tonight. This brings me to Sophi, who I can agree doesn't necessarily have the most actively going for her right now, but right off the heels of a season where the winner hardly had anything actually substantial to show for themselves in favour of repetition of some random useless plot point, quite literally baiting the exact same will-they-won't-they betray their main alliance, that winds up paying off because... checks notes, um... hold on why the hell did that ever matter again? Because the season wasn't about the winner. Sophi is just plainly competent, and is technically showing "autonomy" by choosing between Sophie and Savannah... in a unanimous vote, and I do think her stating clearly who she knows is and isn't a good fit to go to ftc with falls in line with this and is a good sign, especially when as far as we can infer the other two SRSers are... I guess just fine planning to take the trio to the end? Is being the season's main character mutually exclusive from winning? ...No Does Sophi actually have a way to win from this round with her KIP? Realistically also no But she's outlined her finale goals that seem plausible in this f6, and she's following the 48print well. idk... it's less that Sophi's winning and more that Savannah's losing, ykwim? I see a world where Sophi actually holds her KIP here, and that alone is enough to win her the game using it next round if somehow still applicable, or simply pulling it out at FTC and being like hey. so I knew everything and that gave me power. which is such a coincidence because in this game. and especially my game. Knowledge. Is Power. 3 Oscars.

Sage I'd argue /is/ N though, as along with being flipfloppy (ehhh?) she was also being scored by sinister music, went around proudly proclaimed herself a liar, and while Jawan was targeted for being threatening, Sage was targeted for being threatening /and/ revenge... idk. little crumbs that put her above (below?) Jawan/Kristina. Savannah and Soph were, like, cp lite cusp? But I don't think it was enough, especially when this episode had Sage not once laying off the complex pedal in contrast. I have to say I did like this episode for Savannah, but I wish it was... bigger. When it's her using her advantage (which despite the 5-3-1 making it /technically/ unnecessary, was mentioned explained & justified) and getting out her biggest grievance in jawan with sagegon as the decoy... MOR3 with the fewest confessionals feels... off. Maybe they're just preserving the 50/50 here, maybe this is the amuse bouche to slaying sage, idk. Something's itching at me but I don't know in what direction. Contenders-wise, I actually don't have much of anything new to say. Still seconding that it's 100% Soph/Savannah, and as much as I'm still 50/50 I'm keeping Soph above if only because while Savannah has more connections, they're all still negatively-tinged and could still just point to why she loses. Soph's KIP is also probably her secret alliance?? Idk. I truly feel like she has /zero/ presence or narrative relevance beyond that and how she's kept it secret (which, idk, could be the thesis statement) but, despite her much more relevant presence Savannah is soooo "why she lost" coded... It's like buff said, either Soph snags & snipes Rizo and wins, or she doesn't and she doesn't, though despite NTOS I think we'll find out on episode 12 actually. New Era loves a coronating penultimate-ep boot, and I also don't see at all why Soph would do anything right now after JUST securing a 4-3 majority after a season-wide streak of scrambling? Honestly I've kind of just felt in my heart the past few eps like that foursome is just gonna be the final four though actually? Sage and (somehow) Steven are legitimate threats, and Kristina... I mean love her but what an actual random ftcer?? putting two hina in final 5 /does/ sound insane though, so maybe Sage does sneak through to 5?? I honestly don't know. Anyways, if Soph wins, I win predictions. If Savannah wins, very pleasant surprise. I'm satisfied, I guess?? Rizo 3rd for being part of SRS, Sage 4th out of default? I think Sage is /out/ out by now though even, which sucks, but she's joining the new era pre-finale cp(n) goddesses tier which is a legitimately such a star-studded league. Sophie I'm boosting to #5 because steven sucks and maybe her 'i started this game with no power and now im deciding who goes?' is an even more hateful lamb to lion Kristina.......

I think this was a decently strong episode for Soph, though she continues to lack that strong /character/ that new era winners tend to have, even her advantage trio re-peddling hasn't been very unique to her with how there are rumours circulating that survivor 49 castaway Rizo might potentially have been spotted with an unknown object that some are speculating might have some semblance or tie to a "Hidden Immunity Idol", GASP! ...though maybe her KIP paying off next episode will fulfill some something or other I'll say I'm confident that no matter what, this is a Why Savannah x season. She's hands down The main character of the season, and I'd be shocked if she was cut 6th-4th or anything of the like, I feel like that's probably reserved for Sage honestly? At this point I'm pretty confident Sage is the dragon. To me for me. So that leaves Savannah very likely a finalist in my mind, and from there it's just a question of did she get to dominate, or is the mean girl talk why the jury doesn't vote her? I honestly am so torn here, and it's veeeery very tough to discern whether she's more explored as a character and a person because she wins, or whether it's all been coming to a head to show why nobody on the jury really wants to give it to her? Assuming Soph and Savannah make FTC, the rest of the jury seems to be shaping up as follows Rizo - Savannah hands down Sage - Very Likely Soph (Mean girls feud) Jawan - Likely Soph (Bag feud) Kristina - Likely Soph (this ep clearly showed she dislikes Savannah & likes Soph) Sophie - :idk Steven - :idk am i insane where did the shrug emoji go i feel crazy WHERE IS SHE Alex - Likely Soph (Kele strong) MC - Very Likely Soph (Advantage feud) Nate - Likely Savannah 5/9 have reasons to indicate they'd either vote for Soph or against Savannah. Sure, whoever's 3rd might scuff this up a little? and assuming Savannah makes it to FTC solo, sure, she probably wins, but Soph doesn't really have any sort of looming sword hanging over her head as of now? Even if there's an Omar/Jesse/etc etc/Shauhin "big player :OOOO " unexpected True Dragon slain at the end to justify an eleventh hour win, I'd still very much guess that's gonna be Sage, or Savannah herself, before Soph? But, realistically, who else besides Soph, and maybe this is leftover early 40s bias, but I'd hedge my bets on the kookier messier one we know more about, than the standard strong player... it IS one of the two of them tho

I'll give her P for the swelling music, i GUESS? just to differentiate her from total utrobscurity, but, like, cmon. Jawan eeks out another light CP, him having a streak is kind of unsettling to my soul. One of those things where despite the 50/50 ratings distribution if he was gone right now it'd still be a pretty easy morm. Sophie I want to put as CP sooooo bad but technically her confessionals were pretty superficial narration. Her actions around camp were very decently explained, but I think the nail in the coffin is just how jarring the jump in her shown thought process from "Do I stick with the Rizo plan or turn on MC?" to tribal of Uli vs Hina and Needing to jump ship asap. M for being a crazy insane challenge beast but also being a shark flipping on Jawan and slightly MC. actually joining the MC CP train because despite honestly the minimal content I do think she explained herself pretty thoroughly. Why she played her idol, how she sees Jawan distrusting her, how and why she's extending that olive branch, and recognizing that something was up and Sophie was bsing her. Rizo is also so close to an N for being overconfident, spv both from last tribal's fallout and this one once Savannah arrived, but #IGUESS it's not really there, and I definitely don't think we're meant to root against him. On rewatch it is a LOT closer than I thought, Soph and Savannah are pretty neck and neck, but I'm choosing to be reactionary and bump Savannah up above her solely because Savannah has a lot more personal content. We know a lot about Soph's positioning and game sense but what do we know about /her/? Given this is the contenders tab, my talk should end here. It's one of those two. Nobody else has a shot in hell alol, but whateva Sage hangs on in third solely for being the other important player on the board, but this is two weeks in a row now where (despite being righteous,) she's been very highlighted as not getting her way. As much as Savannah is the BIG bad, I wouldn't be surprised if Sage is The Big Bad that the winner takes down in the endgame, and given that this merge is Sage vs Savannah... Jawan I'm keeping in 4th for consistent relevance, but there's not much 'gic to support it. I don't see how he really takes a jury vote, and even narratively he's taken a backseat now, so... ehh... doing better than Rizo getting his first CP at final 10 when it's practically unavoidable narratively though ijbol but these two at least Matter, so they're both roughly interchangeable one-in-a-million peripherals Alex... I dunno what to read on him. No check in with Sophi this episode makes me think that aside from the potential KIPpening, that his only notable relationships remaining are Steven and Kristina, which Ella Mafayo, that's not a winning crew. He's so UTR3. Steven silently lost his #1 and outside of this he really has very little. I doubt him getting a confessional acknowledging this will do anything to boost his chances. Technically the bottom's up alliance with Jawan and Sage, but he's third wheel to that narratively, and he has this unspoken triad with Alex and Kristina?? His way of talking is some of the worst of all time so I'm putting good energy into the world and praying upon his downfall. Sophie not in last <333 god these poor women. Kristina </3
