We have recently learned there is an issue related to our save system that is causing the Mac version of Peace Island to "lock up" on the menu screen, after the opening cinematic.

It got up to 70f here in Portland yesterday, so the Peace Island core staff took half a day off to visit Cliff Island out in Casco Bay!

Just when I thought I had finished all writing for Peace Island, I remembered that a student had accidentally left his notebook behind at the schoolhouse.

We have deactivated our presence on Twitter/X.
We quit posting there months ago, but felt that it was important to withdraw our presence entirely, in order to do our part in diminishing that platform in the eyes of users & advertisers.

By adding Tibet as an independent state to the alternate history map players will find in Peace Island, we've pretty much removed any chance the game will be released in China.

One of the books players will find in Peace Island is a Cormac McCarthy homage about a man eating a sandwich while sitting on an abandoned couch (Yeah - that's a "Blood Meridian" reference.)
