We had friends & allies around the world based on alliances & relationships that were built over many decades.

In one month, Trump has torched them all.

Now our friends are Putin, Orban, the crypto scammer in Argentina, and the guy in El Salvador offering us mercenary prisons.

Ian Fleming's original James Bond novels haven't aged well. For example, Moonraker - published almost exactly 70 years ago in April 1955 - features a villain who's a super-rich industrialist and rocket-maker seeking to cause chaos because he's a secret Nazi. Such a silly idea!

While Musk runs the country, Trump had a productive weekend naming himself Chair of the Kennedy Center, picking the Chiefs to win the Super Bowl, canceling pennies, demanding Google Maps rename Gulf of Mexico, invited only White immigrants from Africa, and saved plastic straws.

Trump wants to impose a 25% tarriff on these goods.

With many California counties nearly finished counting ballots, a clear pattern is emerging — not only did the state shift toward Trump, it was one group that most clearly drove the shift.

Latino-majority counties saw some of the biggest shifts toward Trump.

Though Harris still won the state, Trump’s margin improved greatly compared to the 2020 election — thanks largely to one group of voters.
