OMG!!! Looks like you survived and more than excelled, despite such a rocky psychological / emotional period with such developmental impact. Would wish the same on any in the same situation, but sadly that seems not to be the case. !:|

Did owners of Tesla stock really think that no other, much more experienced carmakers (including manufacturing know how, particularly about quality and reliability) couldn't also make a metal box with batteries, electric motors, and a distributed control system??

We see before us, in real time, how the Brown Shirts became the Gestapo and SS. Big difference, though -- unlike Germany in the 30's, we are a country of immigrants (even the Native Americans!), and there's way more of us than them...

Speakers prolly make the biggest difference, IMHO. Plus vinyl really does physically degrade over time, due to the needle.

I use the spelling "hoit" for "hurt", being pretty much the closest phonetic spelling to the way an old Jewish person with a Yiddish accent would pronounce it. "It couldn't hurt" is a phrase I also associate with the same bunch of older folks (but I could be wrong about that!).
