All the graphic novels I'm querying/readying for query have queer protagonists: ONE NIGHT ACROSS TOWN has Musashi, who's cis and gay, WORDS OF THE PROPHETS has Skaz, who's gender non-con and pan, and THE INNER RIVER has Elren, who's cis and ace, but doesn't even know the words to describe it.

Speaking of Korean soaps, I think I know what my problem with them is: EVERYBODY LOOKS THE SAME. Not EXCLUSIVELY for being Asian, but also because everybody is young, well-groomed, and sharply dressed. There are hardly any distinct features; Squid Game at least had more diversity.
