Both teams could have played all night and not scored. Even just looking at their pass completion rate (77%) compared to ours (85%)... they kept giving the ball away. Yet the media will have you believe they controlled the game. Hopefully it serves as a kick-start for some of the players.

Exactly this. If we were abysmal (and we were) then so were they. But our self flagellation and the newspaper overreaction to their performance is laughable. All of the stats bear it out.

Don't care. Want us to beat everyone. Your fans will have to get used to other teams fans wanting to beat you though. Otherwise you're in for a nervy few months. And that'll transfer to players. When you are at the top, everyone wants to beat you.

Arsenal fans were saying the same of nufc last season. Almost like lots of teams just try really hard all the time but every time Arsenal get beat their fans complain that teams are trying extra hard against them as a coping mechanism.

The fact we could make 6 changes and still win is a positive - something that we haven't been able to do previous to this season. We'll see if it keeps players fresh for next few weeks.

Last season we started slow & finished shite & had a really good run in between. Averaging 1.3 points per game currently. Just need to perform slightly better & average around 2 points/ game in remaining 24 & should be okay for European place. Hopefully a stronger squad means we finish stronger.
