Hardly the most important take away, but…
Merz is 1,98m (6’4”). How tall did t34 claim to be in his health check up?
Looks to me like at least 2in. height difference. Which would tip t’s BMI over “obese” if I’m not mistaken.
In case anyone’s counting.

Yep, probably was, but Vikings did that. Also (& IMS), the Viking exploration was at a time when climate both sides of N. Atlantic as atypically mild.
In any case, at its height, Viking/Norse exploration was pretty incredible.

Something enjoyable that I wanted to share: finally watched the 2023 film of West Side Story.
Loved it.
I had performed in a stage version decades ago, so I know the original *really* well. And some of the changes surprised me. A lot. But all in all, loved what they did with it.
