Older scientist who preferred being a handyman. While retired, I have been collecting Monarch Butterfly chrysalis that I give to a young neighbor to hatch. My hummingbird feeder outside my door is fun to watch!
I see this hive every time I walk my friend's dog.
I'm amazed how many people never see it, even though it's almost eye level and 3 feet from a somewhat busy sidewalk.🤫

There is also a bee hive a block away that most people never notice, even though it's at eye level and close to the sidewalk.

The local birds are getting used to me. The other day we were eating lunch on my lawn and little guy came right up to us, exactly what I was hoping for.

So, crows have been nesting in a neighbor's palm for years. Today, one either fell out of the nest or fledged too soon. As I've done twice b4, just b4 dark, I found it and brought it inside. The parents watched closely. Release on my roof, b4 sunrise. Stay tuned...
