There's an odd thing of, I suspect traditionally for a public broadcaster there's be a difference in how you'd cover an election in the developing world vs how much you'd cover an election in the developed world vs your own country in terms of how much you can get away with implicitly taking sides

tbh i think most voters are thinking at this point "the only relevant difference between the tories and reform at this point is that the tories ran the country down over the past 14 years"

this is context I did not know but makes a lot of sense tbh!
like, the Australian experience is passing a referendum without bipartisan support (let alone one where both major parties are neutral-to-against) is really hard
