The old albums got simultaneously devalued because of Taylor's Version and her music in general grew in value as a whole due to her rise in popularity, so I'm not surprised the ultimate price tag ended up near the original amount.

If there's two malls and one has lower Best Buy prices, I can just drive there. If the same app is cheaper on Google Play compared to App Store, I can't change my platform overnight, especially if my phone is under a carrier contract. 50% of US market is in a monogamous relationship like that.

I worked in one of the MBB until 2024. We always had really useful and extensive internal knowledge docs and we had an internal RAG tool developed within like 6-12 months of GPT-3 dropping. Was speeding some things up, but nothing revolutionary.

It’s happening. Slowly and in the background, as always in Europe, but we’re getting there. We already have SEPA/TARGET2, European Payments Initiative work on Wero is underway, other national players like Vipps, Bizum, Twint, BLIK etc. are also reconsidering their positions on interoperability.
