There’s no one to police this - that’s why it’s important to alert artists that their work is being plagiarised

I agree - I think it’s when sepia was used to describe photographic plates it moved away from cephalopods - but there are still a few pigments geeks out there who use it (including me).

Very similar to the Lutyens designed cenotaph in London and with the same inscription. I’m inclined to agree - probably not a phrase we would use today.
