Dog-lover, avid reader of Golden Age detectives like to paint but have no time
Sun-dried tomatoes are foods that have a long history and are part of a food tradition which is very healthy. Making them sound useless or passe is about as sensible as trying to do them same to baked beans or olive oil. The golden rule is "each to his own taste" which makes the naysayers outliers.

They all have an evil look about them. These are books whose covers tell the truth. Judging them by their covers is easy in their cases.

The bottom line is that they all enjoy hurting others, whether they're women, immigrants, defenseless men in boats, or just people who happen to belong to a different race or religion. Being paid such enormous amounts of money to do these things must make them feel like they won the lottery.

It's not just the racism issue though. If the British promote this comedian to office, they deserve every moment of the chaos and national harm that happens. He's "not fit for purpose" as they say, in any way. The Tories chopped off the hands and feet. This creep will behead and eviscerate.

Hahaha. True. But, technically I'm still okay because I haven't actually met him. God forbid. He is certainly a piece of work though.

I'd bet that those republicans will go through the hearings and then vote to not impeach or convict. Until I see a head roll on the floor I won't believe a single one of those MFs. This is the party of Joe McCarthy and Strom Thurmond, a group with absolutely no conscience or even a place to put one.

There is no Republican member of Congress , not a single one, with the will or the conviction to stop this. They've waited since the days when schools were desegregated to extract this kind of revenge on the nearest possible victims. Trump is the tool of their mindless hate.

The tail is wagging the dog again. Israel is teaching Trump how to deal with helpless, hopeless, defenseless victims. As far as he's concerned, he only has to worry about running out of bullets, pepper spray, flamethrowers and willing, unthinking conscienceless executioners.

Labour's in a tough spot. The geopolitical situation is "fraught". Dealing with the governmental mismanagement of the last fifteen years or so is not making anything easier. I think the analysis is accurate, and that knowingly or unknowingly, Reeves has not been accurate and maybe even prevaricated.

Even though I usually have to force myself to refrain from vomiting every time I think of her, I can see she's given a lot of thought to husbands. God help the next one she gets her grubby mitts on. Valium would be good for her.

My wife and I are like Felix and Oscar, me being the Felix. I'm careful with the spatula, having fallen victim to its' irregular homing by my wife. In fact, I now store them upright, in a special piece of pottery, all of them in the same place.

I am a lifelong reader and go to used book sales. One of the things I do when I buy used books is to buy all the Ayn Rand books and take them to the recycling center, where they are shredded and removed from the possibility of harming the young . Thus, I support my local library and bury Ayn Rand.

I was born in the US and have lived here all my life (I'm nearing 80 now) , but I've never thought of myself as "American". This country has no culture, no touchstones, no real history. It's more natural for me to think of myself as an earthling. Europe, though, is full of all those things and more.

There are many, many worse things you can do other than scream Vive Le Canada . I lived on the border in upstate NY for my early years, up until when I was thirty. Canada is a very nice place, and the people bright and light hearted. I'm sure it has its' own share of assholes, but I never met one.

I sometimes misread an intention, sorry. I agree though, that sometimes it's a slippery slope. The changes needed we can't always supply until something else happens first. I live pretty much by myself, and I have to reflect quite a bit when I speak. Thanks

Don't despair. There are a million reasons why people don't respond. Inarticulacy, depression, absence. Keep banging on doors. Think of those needing support being similar to puppies in a shelter, scared and disoriented. It takes a lot of work to bring them around. We're no different.

I have a friend who paints, and calls herself an artist. Her draftsmanship is perfect, but absolute dreck because it has no life. Art is a process which spins straw into gold. Your work is art.

Some guys don't also. After accepting that life will never be a place where they can be happy, they sublimate their needs. Not all men are ravening beasts, you know. But the conflicts within themselves may destroy them. It's not all a matter sex and violence. Many hugely important people lived thus.

Whoever wrote this note is a pretty sad person. Giving any support or any kind of aid to the fuhrer is giving him the knife he wants you to pay for so that he can cut your throat. You'll live, probably, to reconvert to an agreement with your daughters but will never again be trusted by them.

Y'know, I've loved all of my dogs. They've been wonderful, better than me actually. But living with them over the years has made plain to me, as they sit watching me eat pizza, that they opportunist predators. I never mind sharing though.

It wasn't hard. She was a swell person. Our whole family revolved around her while she lived. I'm ashamed to say that I have a bias in favour of The Airedales. We're scouting to find another because our sympathies are so strong. Jiggs will always be with us.

Libraries help. But even very good libraries don't have what you really want. For that, you MUST enter the forbidden zone of pirates. That's where the very cream of the reading crop lies. Digital books take up an amazingly small amount of space and once you have them, you have them forever.

It's a new era of that kind of colonialism. I wish they'd all just mind their own damned business. Americans ,Russians, Chinese, India, Iranians, Israel should all tend their own vineyards. The world would be a better place.

It would be so fun to see the fuhrer collapse at the podium during one of his childish rants. He's not at all a well person on so many levels. It could happen.

It helps to be a grown-up when you commit yourself too. I think too many people jump to the wrong side of the fence because of lack of life experience. Suffering is a great teacher, and when you're eighteen or twenty most of haven't suffered, thankfully. Empathy is learned if you're lucky.
