I've used big tabletops with these Ikea trestle legs for years - cheap, tiltable, big height range. Biggest game changer items tho are an LG 5k 28" screen and *great* chair

Earlier versions of iOS (like the one I use today) have a setting for transparency - on, or off. I turn it off, and use these other settings too.

Wanted to see what quicktime player v1 from 1993 was like, so booted a virtual mac but it didn't have a movie file handy, so rendering an infini-D raytraced swimming pool animation i recreated on it.

Realising that, like i did in 1993, this is not a fast process.
