What perfect album came out the year you turned 16?

I can neither confirm nor deny that I've done this.

My parents bought the house I grew up in in 1965 for $15 K. When they moved, 40 years later, the house was razed and replaced with a $1 M McMansion. I empathize.

Same. My parents didn't buy a TV until 1972, when I was 11, although they *rented* one for the moon landing in 1969.

I'm so, so sorry.

I heard there was a secret ooze
It turned four turtles into dudes
But you don't really care for pizza, do ya?

They fought like this,
Two swords, a stick
A couple sai
Some nunchuck tricks
Those Ninja boys-a callin

Oh, agreed. But the value varies by organization/situation, so I'd like to see self-managed options remain available.

I fear you're right. Self-managed _anything_ is disappearing quickly. I remember when all "serious" software ran on mainframes. In a way, we seem to be returning to that model, albeit with fancier terminals.

As far as I know, Oracle hasn't said that, and I don't have any inside information. But the delay makes me wonder.

Yes, although at some point soon, the lack of an announcement will essentially become an announcement. 23ai Free is now up to its seventh point release.
February 19, 2025 at 10:49 PM
Amen.
February 19, 2025 at 3:20 PM
Indeed. I'm starting to wonder whether 23ai on-prem will ever be released.
